The research, honestly
Mareo is inspired by a 2025 study in which adults heard a 100 Hz tone for one minute, through speaker systems with a measured sound level, before short motion tests. Phones and headphones can't reproduce or measure that sound level. Mareo is a research-inspired sound experience. It has not been shown to prevent motion sickness, and it isn't a treatment or a substitute for medical care.
Use Mareo before travel, never while driving. Start at a low, comfortable volume, and stop if the sound causes discomfort, ringing, or dizziness. If you have a hearing or balance condition, ask a professional first.
Private by design
No account, ads, or analytics. Mareo doesn't use your location, microphone, or Health data. Your history stays on your iPhone, and you can delete it at any time. Read the privacy policy.
